Huaxing Optoelectronics plans to launch full-screen single-point screen fingerprint in 2020

According to China Business News, CSOT revealed on August 30 that it expects to mass-produce and launch a number of flexible folding screen products in 2020.

Huaxing Optoelectronics has been planning flexible screens for a long time. As early as June 2017, Huaxing Optoelectronics' 6th generation flexible LTPS-AMOLED display panel production line (abbreviated as: t4 project) with a total investment of 35 billion yuan started construction in Wuhan. This is the first 6th generation flexible LTPS-AMOLED display panel production line in China that focuses on folding displays. The project has a designed monthly production capacity of 45,000 large glass substrates, which is equivalent to the production of 1.16 million square meters of mobile phone panels per year. It is expected to be put into production and mass production in 2019. In addition, Huaxing Optoelectronics has also built a 4.5-generation flexible AMOLED experimental line in Wuhan, which has made preliminary technical preparations for the rapid mass production of t4. The planned production capacity of the t4 production line is 45K per month.

On the same day, Huaxing also launched the world's first large-size AM Mini-LED new product MLED-Xingyao Screen. In addition, Huaxing Optoelectronics will also strengthen its layout in biometrics. Currently, it has a fixed single-point screen fingerprint. Next year, Huaxing Optoelectronics will launch a full-screen single-point screen fingerprint, and in 2021 it will launch a full-screen multi-point screen fingerprint.
