On August 26, Suzhou Goodtech released its 2019 semi-annual report. In the first half of 2019, the company achieved operating income of 911,125,514.36 yuan, a decrease of 3.53% over the same period last year, and realized operating profit of 74,694,185.49 yuan, an increase of 8.36% over the same period last year; the total profit was 74,186,962.11 yuan, an increase of 8.45% over the same period last year; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 45,073,801.28 yuan, an increase of 14.54% over the same period last year; the net profit after deducting non-recurring items was 39.1611 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 17.42%.

It is reported that Suzhou Goodech focuses on the fields of semiconductor rectifier device chips, power diodes, rectifier bridges and IC packaging and testing, and already has a complete set of solutions from product design to final product research and development and manufacturing.

The announcement shows that in the first half of 2019, Suzhou Goodtech's main business was still discrete devices and integrated circuit packaging.

It is worth noting that during the reporting period, the operating income of Suzhou Goodtech's sensor business decreased by 62.15% year-on-year. Suzhou Goodtech said that this was due to changes in the sales customers of its subsidiary Atman.

In terms of subsidiaries, Suzhou Gotech said that in 2019, the holding subsidiary Suzhou Jingyin New Materials Co., Ltd. operated well. In the face of fierce market competition, the company's sales continued to grow against the trend, and shipments increased year-on-year. The construction of new plant and R&D building has started.

In terms of high-end packaging and testing, in 2019, Suzhou Goodtech once again increased its investment in its wholly-owned subsidiary AICS in Malaysia by US$10 million. The new equipment has been invested in the SOT23 production line to meet market demand and lay a solid foundation for the company's development.
