According to previous leaks, the EMUI 10 user interface has not been adjusted much, and most of the design of its predecessor EMUI 9.1 (Android P) has been continued. The weather and some of its widgets have been slightly adjusted, with new color schemes and other layout arrangements. In addition, the drop-down menu has become a gradient black, and when a function is disabled, its text will turn gray. The notification bar has been improved to an immersive design that blends in with the desktop.

Gesture navigation remains the same as before, but background switching and animations are smoother. The camera has also changed, including new fonts, colors, and icons. In addition, switching between camera modes is smoother, and new filters have been added. Apart from the appearance of the camera app, no major changes have been found in the main functions.

The EMUI 10 test version also showcases new privacy and permission management systems, which are mainly inherited from Android Q, allowing users to more effectively choose more private options for sensitive information such as location and storage.

At present, FunkyHuawei has tested the latest EMUI 10 based on Android Q on Huawei P30 Pro. Judging from the latest screenshots of EMUI 10 released, the overall appearance design is not much different from EMUI 9.1.
