WiSA SoundSend Certified TVs Continue to Expand with LG OLED TVs including C2, G2 Series and Z2 SIGNATURE Series
WiSA SoundSend certification ensures TVs connect seamlessly with WiSA SoundSend for perfect picture and spatial audio synchronization
SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 29, 2022 – WiSA® LLC, a subsidiary of WiSA Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WISA), today announced that the LG OLED C2, OLED G2, OLED SIGNATURE Z2, ART90, LX1, LX3, QNED99 and QNED90 series of TVs have achieved WiSA SoundSend certification. Launched just last year, the WiSA SoundSend certification program verifies that TVs work seamlessly with the award-winning WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitters. These LG-branded TV series have achieved WiSA SoundSend certification following successful testing earlier this month.
“We are delighted that the LG family of TVs, including our acclaimed 2022 LG OLED series, has now received WiSA SoundSend certification. Demonstrating that our TVs work seamlessly with WiSA technology is very important to LG,” said David Park, Director of Customer Value Realization, LG Home Entertainment. “WiSA SoundSend is a revolutionary product that improves interoperability between modern TVs and enhances the already impressive capabilities of our LG OLED C2 series.”
Connecting WiSA SoundSend to a TV like the LG OLED C2 instantly elevates any home theater setup. The WiSA SoundSend certification mark ensures that all WiSA HT-certified speakers can produce sound that is perfectly and tightly synchronized with the picture. The WiSA Association has seen an increasing number of WiSA SoundSend-certified TV products, all of which can be synchronized with speakers via SoundSend to bring users an amazing immersive surround sound experience.
“We are very pleased to continue our great relationship with LG and to certify these amazing TVs to work with our award-winning WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitters,” said Tony Ostrom, president of WiSA.
We are also proud to work with a premium brand like LG to provide consumers with an exceptional home theater solution that is easy to create and control.”
WiSA SoundSend is WiSA's first branded product, designed to create seamless connectivity between smart TVs and speakers. SoundSend has gained notoriety by winning awards such as the Smart Home Seal of Excellence from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and the IMPACT Award from Dealerscope. Connecting WiSA Certified™ smart TVs and speakers is easy with the SoundSend audio transmitter; simply plug SoundSend into your smart TV via an HDMI (or optical) connection, and SoundSend will seamlessly connect to your speakers wirelessly. Setup takes just 10 minutes, and full control is available through the SoundSend mobile app.
