On August 27, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman published a blog post on August 25, saying that Apple has decided to start from scratch and develop a new generation of artificial intelligence (AI) technology independently of Siri.
Apple has officially announced the introduction of Apple Intelligence in iOS 18. By integrating AI voice assistants such as ChatGPT or Gemini and transforming Siri, it will bring a smarter and more comprehensive AI experience. However, some functions will not be released until 2025.
Gurman said that while the new Siri is promising, Apple is already working on another, more personalized AI experience.
