In recent years, the global smartphone market has expanded rapidly, and the growth in shipments of terminal electronic products represented by mobile phones has a positive driving effect on the sales of electronic components. Capacitors, inductors, and resistors are the most widely used electronic components in the market. In the manufacturing process, we use LCR digital bridges and insulation resistance testers to test the capacitance, loss tangent, leakage current, internal resistance, impedance, and ESR of capacitors, the resistance of resistors, and the inductance of inductors, but they have always been in the stage of traditional testing. For us testers, under the traditional testing mode, we have always faced a pain point, that is, the damage to the eyes and cervical spine caused by long-term testing. You know, electronic components such as capacitors, inductors, and resistors are very small in size. After a long time of testing, vision will inevitably decline. When I first joined the company, it was only 200 degrees. After two years of work, it has risen to 350 degrees. Now I think I didn’t care at the time, and it’s useless to regret it now; there is also damage to the cervical spine. Everyone should know that sitting for a long time is very harmful to the cervical spine. This is like taxi drivers, and emerging professional game players in recent years. They will have such occupational diseases, and even diseases such as lumbar muscle strain. So we urgently need to change our working mode and get out of the dilemma of traditional testing.

In 2017 , our quality department was reformed. In order to improve the test efficiency, the test mode of each test group was changed, and the NSAT-5000 LCR automatic test system was launched. Through the parallel control of the LCR digital bridge and the insulation resistance tester, the setting of the test items of capacitance, resistance and inductance, parameter configuration, automatic testing and automatic saving of test results were completed. User management and data analysis have improved the efficiency of product defect traceability, and the management of personnel has become more systematic. In fact, for the management, time is cost, and efficiency is the accelerator of development. Of course, for us testers, we are also happy about the improvement of efficiency, but what makes us happiest is that the change of test mode has reduced the excessive fatigue of our eyes and cervical spine. As long as the parameters, steps and report templates are set on the system, the test process can be carried out automatically. What is automated testing? This is it!
