Recently, Roborock held a global press conference, where Roborock Technology President Quan Gang shared in depth the development history of Roborock Technology over the past decade with the theme of "The Road is Like a Whetstone", and released three new sweeping and mopping models to the industry: the "Ultra-thin Black Technology V20" equipped with Allwinner MR527, the "High-end Flagship G20S", and the "Dual-arm King P10S Pro" equipped with Allwinner MR813.
Roborock Technology has adopted the "PreciSense Innovative Roborock Star Array Navigation System" obstacle avoidance solution pioneered in the Roborock series on the V20 robot vacuum cleaner, which is a 3D ToF+RGB dynamic obstacle avoidance mode. This is also the first Roborock robot vacuum cleaner product equipped with "dual-light source solid-state laser radar navigation obstacle avoidance". The Roborock V20's obstacle avoidance system consists of two 3D ToF laser radars that can achieve an ultra-precise mapping sampling frequency of 38400Hz and a facial recognition unlocking system. Through the empowerment of the Allwinner "MR527" side + NPU computing power, the chip edge computing capabilities and software perception are integrated to quickly achieve accurate identification of about 73 types of obstacles, helping the robot vacuum cleaner to obtain real-time map positioning and obstacle avoidance faster, and then provide better navigation planning performance for high-difficulty scenarios such as whole-house map planning, real-time distance control and irregular paths. The excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance performance has also prompted the robot vacuum cleaner to make revolutionary innovations in the history of Roborock series products in terms of structure, cleaning, movement, etc.
Roborock self-cleaning sweeping and mopping robot V20 "G series sweeping robot" is the all-round flagship robot series under Roborock, and is more targeted at improving the user's intelligent experience. Roborock provides a new solution for sweeping robots, and launched the "RR mason11.0" intelligent algorithm, which is known as the strongest brain in Roborock's history, so that the sweeping robot can not only do its job as a cleaning expert, but also become a remote care expert. While retaining the codec performance, the Allwinner "MR527" chip has launched a new generation of ISP engine image quality upgrade system for the dedicated visual field. With this blessing, users can remotely perform high-definition calls, video cruises and other functions through the APP. Roborock G20S is also equipped with a new mini high-end fully automatic base station, which has been upgraded on the original mop cleaning mode, and launched an active "wash-brush-scrape" triple deep cloth washing method. With 60℃ high-temperature hot water, the cleaning rate can be increased to 99%. Its full-link antibacterial treatment such as automatic dust collection and base station self-cleaning has become a cleaning robot that has passed the "TUV Nand maternal and child grade".
Roborock Self-Cleaning Sweeping and Mopping Robot G20S As a P series sweeping robot focusing on cost-effectiveness, the P10S Pro has made further upgrades in cleaning capabilities this time. Compared with the previously released P series sweeping robot products, the main brush module uses Roborock's double-glue bristle self-maintenance module. To meet the needs of cleaning corners, the P10S Pro is equipped with two new technical functions: telescopic arm side brush and dynamic mechanical arm side mopping. The suction power of the sweeper fan has also been increased to 11000Pa. With the upgrade of the main brush and side brush, it can suck in more large garbage and stubborn stains. In terms of intelligent experience, the G series's worry-free mode and pet mode are also put on the products released this time, and the cost-effectiveness is further improved.
Roborock self-cleaning sweeping and mopping robot P10S Pro As a strategic partner of Roborock Technology, Roborock has been cooperating in the field of sweeping robots for many years. Roborock Technology's first generation sweeping robot "Mijia sweeping robot" released in 2016 uses the "Allwinner R16 efficient quad-core solution"; its star product "Robot sweeping robot G20" uses the "Allwinner MR813 intelligent robot solution"; and among the new products released this time, the "Robot P10S Pro" continues to use the Allwinner MR813 intelligent robot solution, and the "Robot V20" and "Robot G20S" use the "Allwinner MR527 high-computing power eight-core 2T robot dedicated solution" newly launched by Allwinner Technology.
As a high-computing robot-specific chip, Allwinner MR527 integrates an octa-core Cortex-A55 main core and a heterogeneous core architecture, and integrates ArmMali-G57 and an NPU acceleration unit with 2Tops computing power on the chip. While retaining the encoding and decoding functions, it also launched a new generation of ISP image quality upgrade engine for the dedicated vision field, supporting up to four camera inputs, and also equipped with up to 24 GPs and up to 30 PWMs to meet the intelligent robot product processing visual algorithms, global map construction, mechanical obstacle avoidance, path navigation planning and other functions, enabling the product to perform end-side edge computing and motion control requirements.
Basic introduction to Allwinner Technology's MR527 chip The rapid development of multimodal AI big models has provided the necessary technical foundation for robots to achieve natural human-machine interaction. In the downstream market, more commercial products that integrate autonomous learning, language processing and AI image recognition have also appeared. As a robot product with strong interactive properties, more powerful functional performance has also led to a continuous increase in the amount of data and algorithms of products in the "AI big model + robot" application scenario. In response to this market trend, Allwinner has launched the MR series of high-performance eight-core + AI dedicated computing chips and solutions for robots, which can better help robot products to achieve rapid processing of complex information and flexible response to human-machine collaboration, and meet the market's cutting-edge demand for improved functional experience of robot products. Allwinner has been keeping pace with the development of the robot product market and has provided a robot platform with high performance, superior computing power and rich interfaces. In the future, Allwinner will rely on its experience in developing sensor technologies such as laser, vision, ITOF, and binocular vision to continuously exert its strength in the fields of commercial robots and robotics, and actively explore innovative robot products such as quadruped robots and humanoid robots. It will continue to provide a foundation for the mass production of robot industry products to truly realize the intelligentization of robot services and enhance the wonderful experience of smart life.
