Others imagine a world where humans live side by side with intelligent machines, using a variety of small robots for manual labor, health care, and communication. Many roboticists predict that the evolution of robots will eventually lead us to full cyborgs, humans fused with machines. It is reasonable to believe that humans of the future will implant their minds in robust robotic bodies and live for thousands of years!
Regardless, robots will play an important role in our daily lives in the future. In the coming decades, robots will gradually expand beyond industry and science and enter daily life, similar to the process of computers gradually becoming popular in homes starting in the 1980s.
