The registered capital of the new company is RMB 10 million, and Li Ziyi, the director and CFO of Neolithic Huitong, serves as the legal representative. The new company is located in Xiong'an New Area, a landmark science and technology city in China. Its business scope includes the research and development and sales of intelligent robots , industrial robot sales, service consumption robot sales, and artificial intelligence system integration services and software and hardware development and sales.
Xinshiqi Huitong is a provider of research and development, manufacturing and services for cargo-carrying unmanned vehicles. It is one of the country's specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises. The company was founded in 2018 and received hundreds of millions of yuan in Series B financing in August 2021, jointly led by CICC Capital and SoftBank Asia Venture Capital. Its valuation has exceeded 2 billion.
With many years of experience in the field of unmanned logistics vehicles, Neolix Huitong has the triple advantages of "AI", "robots" and "electric vehicles". Neolix has taken the lead in the world in completing the commercialization and large-scale delivery of L4 level unmanned vehicle products. Neolix Huitong stole the show at the Baidu AI Conference and the US Unmanned Delivery Conference. Subsequently, the company received investment from CHJ Automotive (Liangxiang Auto), a well-known domestic new car manufacturer, to quickly launch products and gain industry recognition.
Xinshiqi Huitong not only builds cars for Baidu, Meituan and others, but also sets its sights on beverage vending machine manufacturers, etc. It can build an autonomous beverage machine, etc., to revive Li Xiang's SEV project. Currently, hundreds of unmanned vehicles have been put into operation in Xiongan New Area, Changzhou and other places, laying a solid technical foundation for the robot research and development of the new company Xinshiqi (Hebei Xiongan) Intelligent Technology.
However, unmanned delivery vehicles have not been very popular. Although they can achieve autonomous navigation and low-speed automatic driving within the park, they have been criticized for "delivery without delivery" and can only deliver to the downstairs, not to the hands of the customer. However, the automatic driving technology of unmanned delivery vehicles can be well transferred to robots. The purpose of Neolithic's establishment of a new company may include using existing technology to pave the way for future transformation.
The registered place of the company established by Xinshiqi this time is Xiongan New Area. As we all know, Xiongan is a landmark Chinese science and technology city that the country decided to build after a long period of investigation and research. The area of Xiongan New Area is 2,000 square kilometers, which is comparable to three New York City. The original intention of establishing this city was to transfer part of Beijing’s population and enterprises to the local area, which will not only relieve the pressure on Beijing, but also drive the development of surrounding areas.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the "Opinions on Several Policy Measures to Support the High-standard and High-quality Construction of Xiongan New Area" reviewed at the meeting on June 30 mentioned that the establishment of Xiongan New Area is a major decision and deployment made to relieve Beijing's non-capital functions and deepen the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It is a long-term plan and a national event. This is enough to show the high hopes and mission placed on Xiongan New Area.
In June, the Beijing Municipal Government issued the "Beijing Robot Industry Innovation and Development Action Plan (2023-2025)". The document focuses on promoting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei robotics industry. As an important window for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Xiongan New Area is undoubtedly good news for robotics companies established here.
The document mentioned that in the future, we should give full play to the policy advantages of industrial coordination in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, support leading robot companies to give full play to the advantages of the industrial chain, and guide upstream and downstream supporting companies to set up in Tianjin and Hebei. Encourage enterprises producing in Tianjin and Hebei to achieve production resource docking and production process coordination through building Industrial Internet platforms and building "mother-child factories" and other methods, so as to enhance the integration capabilities of the industrial chain and supply chain.
After a number of favorable policies were implemented, Xinshiqi chose to settle in Xiongan and took advantage of the geographical location.
