The final results of the "OFweek Robot Awards 2022" jointly organized by OFweek, a Chinese high-tech industry portal, and its authoritative robot professional media - OFweek Robotics, were officially announced at the award ceremony on April 20.
This selection is a major brand event in China's robotics industry and one of the most professional and influential selections in the high-tech industry. The "OFweek Robot Awards" has been established for more than ten years. As the core selection event of China's high-tech industry, it has successfully held dozens of high-tech selection events in various industries and is known as the industry's "Oscar Award for the High-tech Industry."
The event aims to build a brand communication and display platform for products, technologies and companies in the robotics industry, and leverage the resources and influence of the OFweek platform to promote innovative products and solutions to industry users and the market, encourage more companies to invest in technological innovation, and at the same time deliver more innovative products and cutting-edge technologies to the industry, and together imagine the future of the robotics industry.
Moving with the times and responding to the trend, this year's OFweek Robot Awards 2022 has been completely upgraded. Based on last year's awards, the track has been expanded and new awards related to the robot industry chain have been added to form more awards with wide coverage, deep industry reach, and great industry influence, including a total of 13 categories of awards.
The organizers of this selection invested a lot of time and energy in accordance with the principles of "fairness, justice and openness". After nearly half a year of multiple stages including company applications, online voting, expert review, etc., a total of 76 winning companies were finally selected.
Among them, Zhou Jian, founder of Shenzhen UBTECH Robotics Co., Ltd., won the "Veco Cup OFweek 2022 China Robotics Industry Person of the Year Award".
Profile
Zhou Jian, founder of UBTECH, is a member of Shenzhen International Chamber of Commerce, Shenzhen International Chamber of Commerce Youth Committee, and Shenzhen Robotics Association. During his university years, he received the first German Michael Willis Scholarship awarded by Thomas Bach, the current President of the International Olympic Committee. He once worked for a German listed machinery company, responsible for sales in Asia Pacific and China, and later founded a number of high-tech companies in the fields of intelligent humanoid robots, software, mechanical equipment and automation, retail, etc. He has achieved great success in various fields and has many years of rich experience in corporate management and marketing.
In 2012, Zhou Jian founded UBTECH Robotics, a high-tech enterprise that is a global leader in the research, development, manufacturing and sales of artificial intelligence and humanoid robots. In the same year, the first Alpha intelligent robot comparable to that of international first-tier manufacturers was born.
Company Introduction
UBTECH Robotics is a high-tech innovation enterprise that integrates the R&D, manufacturing and sales of artificial intelligence and humanoid robots. The company focuses on the application-oriented R&D, forward-looking R&D and commercialization of artificial intelligence and robot core technologies. It has laid out core technologies including high-performance servo drives, mechanical transmission, motion planning and control, computer vision and perception, intelligent voice interaction, SLAM and navigation, human-computer interaction and hand-eye coordination, and launched the robot operating system application framework ROSA.
