In recent years, China's high-speed rail has crossed mountains and ridges, opened up new areas of transportation, created a miracle, and has gradually become the preferred means of transportation for people in their daily lives. If the foundation of the "steel dragon" of high-speed rail is the rails and roadbed, then the sleepers under the rails that carry the high-speed rail are equally important. Due to process requirements, after the cement sleepers are formed and demolded, the oil injection holes of the sleepers need to be strictly blown, oiled, capped, etc. to ensure the quality of the finished sleepers off the line.
Enterprise Pain Points
In the past, the blowing, oiling and capping of sleepers were all done manually. One cement sleeper weighs 225 kg, and the oiling tools are also very heavy. This results in high labor intensity and repetitive work content. The quality and efficiency of oiling and capping are generally low, and it is easy to cause safety hazards. As a result, enterprises are faced with problems such as difficulty in recruiting workers, high labor costs, and high staff turnover.
From the perspective of the enterprise, introducing robots to build intelligent production lines can not only reduce the burden of employees engaged in such heavy labor, but also reduce labor management costs, improve product quality and production efficiency, and maintain corporate competitiveness in an increasingly fierce market. The client in this case, a company focusing on the rail transit industry and enabling the intelligent construction of China's high-speed rail projects, faced such a problem.
Solution
The customer chose to import the Luoshi XB20 industrial robot. After completing the robot replacement in the sleeper oiling and capping process, the problem was solved. The Luoshi XB20 industrial robot has a load of 20kg, an arm span of 1813mm, and a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05mm. It can carry heavier oiling tools for long-term operation.
After the sleepers are loaded via the conveyor belt, the high-precision XB20 industrial robot, equipped with intelligent vision, identifies the position of the casing on the sleeper rail groove, sprays high-pressure air to blow away concrete residues and other dirt in the casing, then accurately locates the sleeper oil hole and adds high-speed rail special grease, and finally automatically installs the dust cover, truly realizing the integrated automatic operation of blowing, oiling and capping the sleeper.
Customer Benefits
Luoshi Robot has created a reliable and efficient integrated system for rail sleeper blowing, oiling and capping for its customers. By combining the robot with intelligent vision, it has achieved fully automated operations for dust removal, grease filling and dust cover sealing. The capping is tight and does not leak oil, further ensuring the quality of the finished rail sleepers.
At the same time, due to the realization of efficient and flexible automated operations, no human involvement is required throughout the process, which greatly improves production quality and efficiency, and is very suitable for the company's fast-paced automated sleeper production line. One oil filling and capping unit helps the customer company replace two workers, saving labor costs while freeing workers from heavy and repetitive work.
As a symbol of China's strength, China's high-speed rail is developing at an unstoppable speed across the vast land of China, witnessing the leap of China's comprehensive national strength. With high-performance robot products and rich experience in the automation industry, Luo Shi has opened a new path for intelligent manufacturing in the high-speed rail sleeper industry, empowering the intelligent production and supply of sleepers with robot technology, and helping more and more Chinese high-speed railways to be built and opened to traffic. I believe that in the near future, "China Speed" will once again create new miracles.
