On September 2, the Robotics Technology Application Innovation Forum and the 4th Yangtze River Delta Robotics Industry Innovation Conference were successfully held in Shanghai during the 2022 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The theme of this conference is "Industry Empowerment, Achievement Release, High-end Dialogue". Many scholars, experts, entrepreneurs and media from home and abroad gathered to discuss the innovation of robot technology and applications and the future development of robots. This conference was linked online and offline, and the grand event was live broadcast on the official website of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference.
This conference was held under the guidance of the World Artificial Intelligence Organizing Committee Office, hosted by the National Robot Testing and Assessment Center (Headquarters), Shanghai Electric Science Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, and co-organized by Shanghai Robot R&D and Transformation Functional Platform, Shanghai Robot Industry Technology Research Institute, and Yangtze River Delta Robot Industry Platform Innovation Alliance.
Wang Ye, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, welcomed the guests in his opening speech. He pointed out that robots are profoundly changing the production and lifestyle of human beings, and "robotized" tools and equipment are everywhere. The boundaries of robot capabilities continue to expand, accelerating the evolution from perceptual intelligence to cognitive intelligence, from intelligent stand-alone machines to intelligent systems, and emerging new trends of collaboration, intelligence, precision and flexibility. He was pleased to see that the city's robot intelligence level evaluation has been carried out in many companies. In the future, the deep integration and development of the industrial chain and innovation chain will continue to be promoted.

01 China Electrical Industry Electrical Transportation Equipment Standardization and Technology Industry Innovation Alliance was established
At the meeting, the China Electrical Industry Electrical Transportation Equipment Standardization and Technology Industry Innovation Alliance (referred to as "eT Alliance") was formally established.

Like robots, electric transportation equipment uses common technologies such as artificial intelligence and automatic navigation. According to the IEC/TC125 ahG3 document, in the field of standardization, the boundary between electric transportation equipment and robots is clearly defined. Equipment with transportation functions used on public roads or public spaces can be called electric transportation equipment. Electric transportation equipment can be understood as a relatively independent new type of equipment, which is a green electric transportation equipment that solves the problem of smart travel and the last mile of smart distribution.
The eT Alliance aims to promote the formulation and revision of standards, industrial coordination, industry information release, industry-education integration, testing and certification for electrical transportation equipment, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the electrical transportation equipment industry.
02 Robot intelligence level released
The more deeply artificial intelligence technology is integrated with robots, the more intelligent the robots will become.

At the conference, eight organizations jointly released the robot intelligence level. They are: Standardization Working Committee of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, China Robot Industry Alliance, National Robot Testing and Assessment Center (Headquarters), Yangtze River Delta Robot Industry Platform Innovation Alliance, Shanghai Robot Industry Association, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, Shanghai Industrial Technology Research Institute, and Shanghai Robot R&D and Transformation Functional Platform.
The robot intelligence level is divided into five levels according to the robot's intelligence level, with the goal of liberating the human body and completing tasks autonomously: L1 (basic), L2 (semi-interactive), L3 (interactive), L4 (autonomous), and L5 (adaptive).
The robot intelligence level includes the robot's comprehensive intelligence level and the robot's element intelligence level.

03 "China Robot Reliability Information Report" released
In 2021, the Shanghai Robot R&D and Transformation Functional Platform and leading companies focusing on reliability levels jointly launched a robot reliability evaluation and level improvement initiative, and dozens of domestic robot companies responded positively.
Since then, the platform has cooperated with industry enterprises to conduct reliability evaluation of robot complete machines and components and jointly tackle technical problems, forming several sets of robot reliability improvement solutions and robot reliability databases, effectively improving the industry's reliability level. The National Robot Testing and Assessment Center (Headquarters) and the Shanghai Robot R&D and Transformation Functional Platform jointly compiled the "China Robot Reliability Information Report" and released it at the meeting.

04 China Robot Certification (CR) upgraded version released
China Robot Certification (CR) is an important system in the field of robots in my country. Since its implementation, CR has made great contributions to the improvement of robot product quality, the technological progress of the robot industry, and the healthy and orderly development of the robot industry. This year, under the guidance of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration and other ministries and commissions, combined with the new round of national robot strategy and industrial development needs, the upgraded version of China Robot Certification was officially launched.
At the meeting, the upgraded version of the China Robot Certification (CR) was jointly released online with the 2022 China Robot Industry Development Conference held in Suzhou.
05Service Robot Typical application scenarios released
In 2021, the Shanghai Robot R&D and Transformation Functional Platform released the "White Paper on the Top Ten Application Scenarios of Service Robots".
In the past two years, robots have been increasingly widely used in various application scenarios. At the conference, seven typical application scenarios of service robots were selected for release. They are: construction, logistics distribution, catering distribution, medical rehabilitation, medical testing, environmental improvement, and building delivery.
In the smart building scenario, Shanghai Robotics Industry Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Youge Robot Co., Ltd. have taken the lead in completing the compilation of the "China Smart Building Robot Standardization White Paper" and jointly released it with the Shanghai Tower.

01 8 companies received robot intelligence rating certificates
According to the published content, the robot intelligence level project covers four aspects: comprehensive intelligence, perception intelligence, cognitive/decision-making intelligence, and execution intelligence. At the meeting, certificates were issued to eight companies that passed the robot intelligence level assessment.
