Micro motor
A micro motor is a type of motor that is small in size and capacity, with an output power generally below a few hundred watts, and has special requirements for use, performance and environmental conditions.
Micro motors refer to motors with a diameter less than 160mm or a rated power less than 750W. Micro motors are often used in control systems or transmission mechanical loads to detect, analyze, amplify, execute or convert electromechanical signals or energy.
Working principle of micro motor
The micro motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The rotor of the micro motor is driven by electric current. The different directions of the rotor current produce different magnetic poles, which interact with each other and rotate. After the rotor rotates to a certain angle, the commutation function of the commutator can change the change of the rotor magnetic polarity by changing the direction of current, keeping the interaction direction between the rotor and the stator unchanged, so that the micro DC motor starts to rotate continuously!
Types of Micro Motors
1. Electromagnetic
The basic composition is similar to that of an ordinary motor, including stator, rotor, armature winding, brushes and other components, but the structure is extremely compact.
2. Combined
There are two common types: a combination of the above-mentioned micromotors; a combination of micromotors and electronic circuits, such as a combination of a DC motor and a sensor, a combination of an X-direction and a Y-direction linear motor, etc.
3. Non-electromagnetic
The external structure is the same as the electromagnetic type, for example, the rotary products are made into a cylinder, and the linear products are made into a square, but the internal structure varies greatly due to their different working principles.
