In-depth analysis of the main hardware configurations:

● Core processor and storage

The motherboard is the core of the MDC Pro 610, equipped with HiSilicon's automotive SoC and equipped with Samsung's 12GB LPDDR5 SDRAM for efficient performance in handling complex computing tasks such as image recognition, sensor data processing and real-time decision-making.

● Power management and stability

To achieve efficient power management, the controller uses chips from companies such as Infineon, HiSilicon, and Lattice Semiconductor. The power management IC is responsible for regulating the voltage, ensuring the stability of the system in various environments, and reducing energy consumption.

● Storage and data management

The MDC Pro 610 is equipped with Kioxia's 64 GB 3D TLC NAND flash memory and ISSI's serial flash memory for storing driving data and system logs, improving the system's real-time processing capabilities and providing ample space for the iteration of autonomous driving algorithms.

● Network and communication capabilities

The controller uses Realtek's 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and transceiver components to support high-speed data transmission, ensuring smooth information exchange between various sensors and control systems, improving the response speed of the overall system, and enhancing adaptability to different driving scenarios.

Comparison and iteration of MDC610 design

Huawei has previously disclosed the schematic diagram of the previous generation of MDC610. Ascend 610 is equipped with two chips, SAK-TC397XX-256. The key chip parts include TLF35584QVV51, LDO, transceiver, surge suppressor, filter capacitors and other components. The large number of filter capacitors has higher requirements for suppressing power supply noise.
