On April 14, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published the 331st batch of "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products" (hereinafter referred to as "Announcement") on its official website. The announcement period is 5 working days, ending on April 20. There are 306 new energy vehicle products declared this time, including 57 new energy passenger cars, accounting for 19%; 116 new energy buses, accounting for 38%; and 133 new energy special vehicles, accounting for 43%. Compared with previous announcements, the number of new energy vehicle products declared in this batch of announcements has increased sharply.

From the perspective of technical routes, models equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries account for 78% (nearly 80%), reaching 238 models; there are 50 models equipped with ternary batteries, accounting for 16%; there are 6 models equipped with lithium manganese oxide batteries and unspecified lithium-ion batteries , accounting for 2% respectively; there are 4 models equipped with hydrogen fuel cells ; and there are 2 models equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries + supercapacitors.

In addition, compared with the previous batches of announcements this year, it was found that the proportion of lithium iron phosphate batteries in the new energy passenger vehicle field is on the rise, and this batch of announcements has the highest proportion, reaching 29.8% (nearly 30%).

From the perspective of power battery manufacturers, CATL accounts for 60%. In this batch of announcements, CATL supplies 190 models, accounting for 62%; BYD supplies 14 models, accounting for 4%, ranking second; Guoxuan High-tech and Yiwei Lithium Energy supply 9 models respectively, accounting for 3% each, tied for third place.
