Northwest Energy Regulatory Bureau participated in the research on new energy storage and cross-provincial and cross-regional electricity transactions in the Northwest region

Recently, the Northwest Energy Regulatory Bureau was invited to participate in the research project on new energy storage and cross-provincial and cross-regional electricity transactions in the Northwest region organized by the China Energy Research Association, and actively assisted in the research on high-proportion development policies for new energy in the Northwest.

The Northwest Energy Regulatory Bureau focused on introducing the progress and achievements of electricity market supervision in recent years, the construction, development and operation of new energy storage in Ningxia, and cross-provincial and cross-regional electricity transactions. It gained an in-depth understanding of the problems and difficulties faced by relevant power companies, and put forward work opinions and suggestions from a regulatory perspective. It also had in-depth exchanges with the China Energy Research Association, power dispatching and trading institutions, and university research institutions on building a new power system in the Northwest region, tapping the market's potential for optimizing resource allocation, and improving the level of new energy power consumption.
