I would like to thank Electronic Engineering World ( EEWORLD ) and Silicon Labs & Arrow for the opportunity.

Today, I finally received the BG 22-EK4108A development board. It should be not far from EEWORLD , so the speed is much faster. I have been looking forward to it for a long time, so I will open the box to see what it is!

The packaging is relatively simple, an anti-static foam bag, containing the following list:

1. A BG 22-EK4108A development board (with an extra anti-static bag).


2. A SILICON LABS card, Chinese red.


3. A USB-A to USB-micro cable.

As shown below:

The following two pictures are the front and back pictures respectively:

All chip components are concentrated on the front, and there are no components on the back. The development board is small, clean and tidy, and looks comfortable, which is conducive to in-depth evaluation and adds additional technical skills. In turn, it means that BG22 only needs a few peripheral components to meet actual needs, which can speed up product evaluation and listing.

The left side of the development board in the picture below shows the J-LINK debugger chip and the peripheral expansion interface, and the right side shows the main chip BG22 , buttons, LEDs and Bluetooth antenna. The board is small but fully equipped, so you can start evaluating it right away.

The following figure shows the main chip BG 22-C224HI-C010FQM-2113 :

The following figure shows the chip GG12B410JG-A01X09-2041 used by the J-LINK debugger :

Connect the computer via J-LINK USB , and the debugger light will be on, as shown below:

Further in-depth evaluation will be continued later.
