What is LDS antenna technology?
Ordinary mobile phone antennas are installed on the motherboard of the mobile phone. LDS antenna technology is laser direct structuring technology, which uses a computer to control the movement of the laser according to the trajectory of the conductive pattern, and projects the laser onto the molded three-dimensional plastic device, activating the circuit pattern within a few seconds. Simply put (for mobile phone antenna design and production), on the molded plastic bracket, laser laser technology is used to directly plate the bracket to form a metal antenna pattern. This technology can directly laser the antenna on the mobile phone shell.
LDS standard process
Compared with traditional mobile phone antenna technology, the advantages of LDS antenna technology are:
1. The antennas produced have stable performance, good consistency, high precision, and the laser system is durable and requires little maintenance. It is suitable for 7X24 uninterrupted production, has a low failure rate, and can fully utilize the three-dimensional structure of the bracket to form the antenna pattern.
2. The manufacturing process is short, no circuit pattern mold is required, and it is environmentally friendly. For the antenna RF, only a three-dimensional CAD drawing is required, which saves the process of repeated communication with ME and repeated modification of the mold.
3. Because the antenna is laser-mounted on the phone casing, interference from internal components of the phone is avoided, ensuring the phone's signal.
4. At the same time, it also enhances the space utilization of the mobile phone, allowing the body of the smartphone to achieve a certain degree of slimness.

LDS antenna technology is mainly used in the field of mobile communications to realize the functions of smartphone antennas and mobile payment. Currently, almost all well-known smartphone manufacturers have related models using this technology. In addition, this technology is also widely used in automotive electronics, computers, electromechanical equipment, medical equipment and other industries.
