The functions are very comprehensive. It is worth mentioning that the curves drawn by Filter Solutions are comparable to those of Protel. I basically use Filter Wiz Pro to design filters, but the curves of Filter Solutions are usually usable right out of the box.

Without further ado, this is the discrete component filter software I use most often. It has very comprehensive functions and takes into account almost all the problems you can think of. The only drawback is that it imposes certain restrictions on the number of poles and resistance values ​​if you do not register. The registration fee is $199.

FilterCAD

Produced by Linear, this software is widely used in integrated filter design and is free to use without restrictions.

A design wizard is provided to facilitate the rapid design of integrated filters. It has phase-frequency, amplitude-frequency and group delay curves, and the frequency axis can choose between linear and logarithmic modes.

It is available as a free download from the Linear Technology website.

FilterLab

Produced by Microchip, it is free to use, unlimited, and very affordable.

The disadvantage is that there are only phase-frequency and amplitude-frequency curves.

FilterPro

Produced by Ti Company. Maybe the installation package I downloaded had damaged files. Some errors occurred during the installation process, and I often encountered run time errors during use. Besides, the above-mentioned design software are sufficient to cope with most situations. Therefore, I did not fully appreciate the functions of this software, but I just knew that its reputation has always been very good.
