Karaoke originated in Japan. The original name is Karaoke, which means "unaccompanied band". Karaoke was originally used as a drum accompaniment for a band. Later, its inventor Daisuke Inoue thought that it could be played in a salon when customers who wanted to sing requested songs, and used the machine to achieve the function of accompaniment. As long as the microphone is connected, users can sing along with the music and entertain themselves, which can be said to be endless fun. It should be noted that generally, mini stereos with karaoke functions should have VCD or DVD playback functions, because without video playback functions, karaoke functions are meaningless.
