Hetai's 2023 new product launch conference was held in Beijing on November 9. As the company's first offline launch after the epidemic, Hetai brought a number of new products, covering 32-bit MCU, smart home, green energy and power saving, health measurement, Wireless communications, security and safety, Beichuang Technology BMduino and modules, with touch MCU, USB-PD chip, BLDC, security sensing and other product lines to enter true wireless Bluetooth headsets (TWS), smart lighting, blood sugar/blood oxygen Measurement, fan motor, carbon monoxide detection and other end applications.
Consumer MCU is the main direction of Hetai, which is used in daily life and home-related small appliances; life and property safety related: fire protection, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms; health-related: blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, body fat scales, ear thermometers Guns, thermometers; energy related: electric vehicle chargers, motor control; main control MCU, touch buttons and other fields.
This conference launched the new 32-bit MCU HT3250XXX series, which is used in smart home appliances, industrial control, consumer electronics, automobiles, and industrial automation. The 8-bit STD MCU HT66L25XXX series, with its low power consumption, can be used in environmental particle detection, security, health, charger and other products. For the field of health measurement, Hetai has also launched a variety of MCUs, all of which feature low power consumption and small packages.
New products at the conference mostly use 8K and 16K flash memory, which can be repeatedly programmed and remotely updated. Customers can choose the appropriate flash memory based on product complexity, demand, and cost.
When it comes to the MCU market trend, the current overall MCU market inventory is still relatively high, and all manufacturers are continuing to eliminate inventory. Cai Rongzong, deputy general manager of Hetai, believes that the worst situation seems to be over now, the prices of various competitions have stabilized, and many manufacturers have begun to increase prices. But when will the market return to the pre-epidemic state, we still need to continue to observe.
When talking about the future development of Hetai, Cai Rongzong said that in the future, Hetai will continue to increase computing speed, reduce power consumption, integrate with sensors, and integrate more circuits to reduce development cycles and save costs. Faced with the current trend of AI and various types of equipment becoming increasingly intelligent, Cai Rongzong believes that the combination of microcontrollers and sensors can lay a solid foundation for data collection for the emergence of intelligent products and AI-related products in the future. Health measurement, fire security, electric vehicle chargers, radio frequency IC, and BLDC will become the key areas of development and attention of Hetai now and in the future.
