Arbor Day | Recommend an entry-level oscilloscope that you think has reliable performance [Copy link]

Recently, a friend asked me to recommend an entry-level oscilloscope. I found these four machines with similar parameters: Puyuan DS1000Z, Dingyang SDS1000X-E, Tektronix TBS2000, and Goodwill GDS1000B. Friends who have used them or heard feedback from them, please vote for them (please do not disturb me)

I bought a 100Mhz oscilloscope from Puyuan ten years ago, mainly because it was cheap. I have used it for more than ten years and it is still OK. I have also used "Excellent" and felt that it was not as good as Puyuan. I have also used Agilent and felt that it was only slightly better than Puyuan, but the price was much more expensive.

Yes, Agilent is too expensive. It is not worth buying an entry-level oscilloscope that expensive.  Details Published on 2019-3-13 14:56

If you don't have too many requirements, then it should be fine. Puyuan is pretty good among domestically produced

Among the domestic products, Puyuan is reliable. I used Puyuan 1052E at first, and later changed to DS2072A. They both feel good. If you have money, of course you can choose Deutsche or Tektronix.

Sorry, I'm borrowing your space to ask a question. I have a friend who works in power supply. He said that there is no difference between an analog 20M oscilloscope and a digital 100M one. He prefers the analog one when he works, saying that the analog one is better for viewing waveforms, and the digital one is more convenient for measurement. He just likes the analog one for viewing waveforms. Can you tell me why?

1) Within 200MHz, I feel that domestic products are more affordable. I bought a Hantek product before, but one channel broke after a short time. Later, I got a Dingyang product, which is not bad. 2) If you are not short of money, you should still go for Tektronix or Agilent

For personal use, I recommend Micsig's STO1104C. I use Micsig's full touch operation at home, which is easy to use and takes up little space.

If you have money, choose Agilent Tek. Nothing to say.
