PIC K150 programmer;
Here the author initially purchased Kit 3.5 because he saw that MPLAB X IDE v5.50 supported the chip he used. When he bought it, he found that when he selected the target chip, the "Kit 3.5 Programmer" option was grayed out and could not be selected. When he selected another target chip, the "Kit 3.5 Programmer" could be selected. Only then did the author realize that he had bought the wrong programmer.
