PIC18F1330 control 3 PWM output channels example

The DMX512 interface standard (ANSI El.11) is a standard published by the American Institute of Theater Technology (US.I.T.T). Originally used to control lighting dimmers, the protocol has now been extended to control luminaire movement, slide projectors and many other lighting installations, with the advantages of simplicity and low cost. The DNX512 is based on a 250 kbaud asynchronous serial interface using a standard RS-485 differential line transceiver. Data is transmitted based on 8-bit asynchronous serial communication, 1 start bit, 2 stop bits, and no parity. It has 256 brightness adjustment levels. Most PIC microcontrollers can transmit and receive within a few lines of code, providing an EUSART peripheral so that the protocol can be executed in the simplest and most efficient manner. The figure shows an example of PlC18F1330 controlling 3 PWM output channels (the resolution of each channel can reach 14bit).
