The system memory of stm32 is programmed with ST's bootloader and locked to prevent users from erasing it. This bootloader is used in application programming, such as the USB-to-serial hardware and flymcu software of Zhengdian Atom, through which the program can be burned into flash.

What most people call bootloader refers to the bootloader program written by themselves and burned to the starting position of the flash (0x8000000 for stm32), through which the app program is updated.
