According to foreign media reports, with the continuous advancement of 5G, MediaTek's presence has continued to increase. Thanks to the launch of a number of 5G smartphone processors and their adoption by many smartphone manufacturers, their revenue has continued to set new highs.
The monthly revenue released on MediaTek's official website showed that in September, their revenue reached NT$47.906 billion, equivalent to approximately US$1.702 billion, setting a new record high.
In September last year, MediaTek's revenue was NT$37.866 billion, and in September this year it was NT$47.906 billion, an increase of NT$10.04 billion, a year-on-year growth of 26.51%.
MediaTek's revenue in September not only increased year-on-year, but also increased significantly month-on-month. In August this year, MediaTek's revenue was NT$42.808 billion, an increase of NT$5.098 billion in September, a month-on-month increase of 11.91%.
Information on MediaTek's official website also shows that in the first nine months of this year, their revenue reached NT$364.761 billion, compared with NT$225.741 billion in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 61.58%.
