ADLINK Technology, a leading global provider of edge computing solutions, has launched the AMP-104C and AMP-304C series of pulse motion control cards based on the PCI Express interface. This series of control cards has high performance and excellent precision, designed to meet the requirements of motion control equipment in many high-growth electronic manufacturing fields including the semiconductor, AOI and LED industries.
ADLINK's AMP-104C is an entry-level control card that can reliably and accurately perform basic point-to-point (P2P) motion control, and provides additional encoder inputs and position latches, which can provide more precise positioning when applied to stepper motors, achieving high added value at an affordable price.
ADLINK AMP-304C is an advanced motion control card that provides superior speed and precision to meet the needs of more complex automation applications. AMP-304C is equipped with a DIN-304C dedicated wiring board to help simplify cable distribution. When the two cards are combined, it can not only improve the overall performance, but also minimize the total cost.
Both AMP motion control cards feature a two-in-one design of motion control and I/O functions. Through the integration of hardware and software, all port functions are integrated into one device, making it easier to manage, with lower total cost, and without affecting I/O functions. Customers can decide whether they need to connect I/O devices or perform different motion operations through I/O connectors.
ADLINK AMP-304C provides 16-channel output and unique position comparison function. Through the "comparison point multiplexing" mode, it can simplify the setup of repeatable motion applications, thus saving API configuration time. AMP-304C also supports "fast response API" and "command preloading mode", which can reduce the execution time between the motion control card and the CPU, thereby increasing throughput and further improving unit hourly production (UPH). All of these advanced AMP-304C functions can be set up and managed through ADLINK's APS SDK. APS SDK provides a single code base and a unified user interface, providing more than 400 motion control functions for code-free test developers. With ADLINK's SDK, motion control systems can be easily upgraded, centrally managed and quickly deployed.
“We believe that optimized hardware and software integration is the key to success in the field of motion control. The AMP series performs well in many mechanical automation application scenarios and will help manufacturers successfully meet many challenges in future production.”
