On November 17, the open course on surface cleanliness and reliability of electronic components in wet environments, hosted by ZESTRON Reliability & Surface (R&S), was held as scheduled at ZESTRON North Asia Headquarters (Shanghai). Since the release of the event plan in September, the course has attracted the attention of many well-known domestic manufacturers.

The participants of this seminar widely involved R&D design, NPI and process technology, and production and manufacturing management in the electronics industry. ZESTRON designed a series of contents in this open class, including an overview of surface cleanliness in the electronics manufacturing industry, ion contamination and electronic reliability, surface cleanliness testing and risk analysis technology, analysis of industry standards for electronic component reliability and surface cleanliness, failure analysis methods and technologies, and failure case studies. By sharing past project experience and professional technical knowledge, it is hoped that relevant personnel can master countermeasures to such problems in a relatively short period of time. In order to improve the participation of students in the class, ZESTRON reliability and failure analysis expert Wang Ketong carefully organized field tests, group discussions, and laboratory observation sessions outside of the lectures. The students actively shared their accumulated experience and challenges in their respective units, showed great enthusiasm for on-site interaction, and unanimously expressed that this intuitive training method was impressive. The open class lasted from 9 am to around 5 pm. At the end of the seminar, the students expressed their hope to participate in similar training again next year.
