How to select the drain valve of magnetic flap level gauge?

　　In the actual production application process, the magnetic flap level gauge is generally equipped with a drain valve at its bottom to facilitate daily troubleshooting and cleaning to drain the liquid medium in the main float. However, since the liquid medium used for level measurement by the magnetic flap level gauge is mostly water, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acid and alkali liquid, industrial wastewater, liquid medicine, etc., they are all corrosive to varying degrees; at the same time, in actual production, the operating pressure and process temperature are also different, which involves the problem of how to select the drain valve of the magnetic flap level gauge.

　　Generally speaking, when selecting a drain valve, on the one hand, the material and type of the valve should be considered, and on the other hand, the pressure level and temperature level of the valve should also be considered to adapt to different production conditions, to prevent the drain valve from running, bubbling, dripping, or leaking during use, and to ensure stable and safe production.

　　1. The magnetic flap level gauge uses materials such as 304, 316L and lining F46 according to the different measured media to improve the corrosion resistance of the valve.

　　2. To adapt to different pressure and temperature conditions, ball valves or needle valves are generally selected according to the characteristics of each valve: For working conditions with pressure less than 1.6MPa and temperature within 100℃, stainless steel ball valves are used. For working conditions with pressure greater than 1.6MPa and temperature exceeding 100℃, stainless steel needle valves are installed to improve pressure resistance and sealing resistance.

　　3. For the PTFE lined magnetic flap level gauge, use a lined stainless steel ball valve to improve its corrosion resistance.
