Intel has launched the Intel® Solutions Marketplace, an innovative platform that will help partners deploy solutions as the data-centric economy becomes increasingly complex. Through the personal reporting dashboard on this new platform, Intel partners can use new partner association and partner business docking capabilities to grow their business, receive and manage sales leads, monitor business performance, and market solutions to end customers. This new platform and Intel® Partner University are key products of the Intel® Partner Alliance, a transformation of Intel's previously released channel partner program designed to help partners connect, innovate, and grow in a data-centric world.
“By 2025*, the total amount of data in the world will increase from 33ZB in 2018 to 175ZB. As data continues to define the future, solutions are becoming more complex. Innovation requires a wider range of partners to work together to develop products that provide customers with better ways to transmit, store and process data. We have created a platform to help partners explore new collaboration opportunities, showcase innovative products, and help develop new businesses.” - Eric Thompson, General Manager of Intel Global Partner Development Strategy
Why it matters: The Solutions Marketplace enables better collaboration among partners, helping them focus on desired outcomes and deliver differentiated services. The platform’s powerful new capabilities enable partners to connect and collaborate with other industry peers in a global network to jointly deliver innovative data-centric solutions to business end customers. Today, solutions often include various combinations of hardware, software, and services, and are increasingly being used to solve specific business challenges. For example, a solution that helps a municipality use smart devices to reduce energy consumption may be led entirely by the service side of the business, while an AI solution that drives predictive maintenance to reduce downtime may be led by a software or hardware vendor. The Solutions Marketplace makes this collaboration simpler and more efficient.
Features available: The Intel Solutions Marketplace encourages partners to collaborate in a broader ecosystem so that Intel partners and business end customers can research and explore thousands of partner solutions, including Intel® Market Ready Solutions for IoT, artificial intelligence, automation technology, data center and cloud, 5G, and next-generation computing. It provides partners with new ways to innovate and new ways to enter the market and grow their business. Key features of the Intel Solutions Marketplace include:
Digital Storefront: The new storefront makes it easy to reach a global ecosystem of partners and customers with products, solutions, and services. The streamlined interface makes it quick and easy to list products, while custom dashboards give partners and customers unprecedented insight into the Intel solution environment.
Personalized search results: An enhanced product catalog allows users to easily browse thousands of products and solutions to find the ones that best suit their needs.
Intelligent lead generation: AI-powered matchmaking capabilities make it easy to discover the right partners and customers based on partner type and their solution focus areas, further improving personalization.
Next steps: The Intel Solutions Marketplace is designed to drive collaboration across the ecosystem and make it easier for partners to connect with each other, all within the trusted Intel ecosystem. Intel will continue to launch new enhancements throughout 2020 to help partners manage sales leads, monitor business performance from a personal reporting dashboard, and continue to grow their business.
