Rushing to the GitHub hot list - my VS Code can't be so cute!
Today, the popularity of various "hard-core" open source AI LLM projects on GitHub Trending has been far surpassed by a
warehouse that
focuses on "cuteness"
and has no source code.
The name of the warehouse is "ServiceLogos", which stores the logos of a large number of open source programming languages and frameworks - redrawn by the author of the warehouse. The painting style is like this:
Compared with the many official logos that we usually see with serious fonts and dull colors, the redrawn logo’s pleasant color scheme and light-hearted fonts are indeed more appealing to programmers.
Let’s compare two representative projects. Here are the official logos of C++ and Rust:
After redrawing:
Fast programmers have printed them out as stickers and stuck them on their computers:
Or make it the startup background of the IDE:
Project author sawaratsuki said that these logos can be used freely for non-profit purposes and can be modified appropriately (re-creation), but the license agreement of the new logo must be consistent with the original logo, that is, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
The author also said that if the warehouse does not have the logo you want, you can submit issues. After he confirms it, he will start the design and production.
The author also introduces the design tools used:
-
Photoshop/Illustrator
-
Font: [ユールカフォント]
Not much to say, everyone should support such a lively and open-source work!
