This week's Fengwan: CES new products are crowded, but none of them are worth buying
From January 3rd to January 6th, 2016, here are the top 5 new products worth paying attention to this week.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S Tablet
Samsung officially released the Galaxy TabPro S laptop at the exhibition hall. It is not only equipped with the X86 Windows 10 system, but also uses a unique Super AMOLED screen. Its thickness is only 6.3mm, which is thinner than the iPhone 6s!
It is known that this is the first time that Samsung has used a Super AMOLED screen on its own notebook, and the size is up to 12 inches. This may be the largest electronic device with a Super AMOLED screen. Not only that, because it is equipped with an Intel Core M processor, the Galaxy TabPro S has no fan, and the thickness is only 6.3mm and the weight is only 693g. What does this thickness and weight mean? Even if it is placed in a mobile phone, it is very thin (the thickness of iPhone 6s is 7.1mm). It will be sold worldwide in February 2016, but Samsung has not yet announced the price.
Comment: What do you think of? I think of Microsoft's Surface tablet.
Xplorer 2 Drone
On January 6, 2016, Zero released Xplorer 2 through a WeChat group. The appearance design of the first generation of Xplorer has received numerous praises. The second generation continues the design of the first generation, but adds WIFI high-definition image transmission, so there are some changes on the back. The "mushroom head" on the drone is not the GPS antenna as everyone guessed, but an automatic obstacle avoidance module. The obstacle avoidance module can achieve 360° full-range scanning at a rate of 50 times per second within an effective obstacle avoidance distance of 6m.
The specific price was not disclosed at the press conference. As for the launch time, Yao Benchao said it would be after the Spring Festival. The launch of Xplorer 2 is undoubtedly to compete with DJI's upcoming Phantom 4. It is reported that DJI may release Phantom 4 in March. Zero Degree did not disclose the price this time, in fact, it is also to observe DJI's actions.
Comments: For aerial photography, I only trust DJI, unless you are much cheaper than it.
Nikon KeyMission 360 Action Camera
At CES 2016, Nikon announced that it is developing a series of sports cameras with built-in Nikon optics and image processing technology to officially enter the sports camera market and launch its first panoramic camera, the KeyMission 360. Nikon KeyMission 360 is a wearable sports camera capable of recording 360° videos. It has two built-in impact sensors and lens combinations, one on each side of the camera, which can take two photos at the same time and synthesize them into a 360° image.
Nikon's KeyMission 360 camera is a big surprise for us. In the past, Nikon has launched triple-proof cameras. After adding the panoramic photography function, extreme sports will be more fun. I am looking forward to the actual use effect. For friends who love extreme sports, maybe GoPro will no longer be the best choice in the future because of KeyMission 360.
Comment: Nikon has taken action, Nikon has taken action, what are you doing, Canon?
Google Project Tango Phone
At CES 2016, Lenovo announced that they will launch the first consumer phone of Google Project Tango in the summer. It is understood that the so-called Project Tango project is to use special cameras, sensors, and chips on Android phones to build a three-dimensional space model of the surrounding world in real time, including volume, position, direction, and finally draw a three-dimensional space model. Speaking of this, you may have thought of augmented reality. Yes, this project can bring technical breakthroughs to augmented reality, allowing augmented reality to be used in a wider range, and it will also greatly improve game development and 3D video production.
It is known that Lenovo's Project Tango phone, jointly developed with Google, will be launched globally this summer. Its screen size is less than 6.5 inches and the price is less than US$500.
Comment: Any consumer who buys this is an idiot, and any developer who buys this is awesome.
Casio Android Wear Watches
At CES 2016, Casio announced the release of an outdoor smartwatch, the WSD-F10, which has a very heavy appearance and uses the Android Wear system. Another traditional watch giant has released a smartwatch.
In terms of configuration, the WSD-F10 is equipped with a 1.32-inch display screen with a resolution of 320*300. Like the Moto 360, it also has a black border at the bottom. However, the screen of the Casio WSD-F10 is slightly different from that of ordinary watches. It uses double-layer LCD display technology and can achieve monochrome mode, which can better extend the battery life and save power.
Comment: Orthodox Android Wear is good, but it has nothing to do with your people...
