Apple's new vulnerability: Hackers can use iTunes Wi-Fi sync to take over your iPhone
According to Leiphone.com (official account: Leiphone.com), on April 19, researchers from Symantec discovered a vulnerability in the Apple ecosystem. As long as the user's iPhone is paired with a Mac workstation or laptop, hackers can exploit the vulnerability (Trustjacking) to secretly "take over" the user's device.
As long as the user ticks the "iTunes Wi-Fi Sync" option in the iTunes options, when the new iPhone is synced with the Mac device, the user can connect to the smartphone via the wireless network, saving the troublesome data cable. Indeed, this feature is quite convenient. With the help of iTunes, users can restore or send data from the smartphone.
However, Symantec researchers believe that this feature has a design flaw because even if the iPhone is disconnected from the Mac device, the paired iPhone can still be viewed through local Wi-Fi. In this case, hackers can use iTunes to record the user's daily operations. In addition, hackers can install or uninstall applications on the victim's phone at will. They can even activate remote backups, command the iPhone to transfer data back, and then make profits by screening the data.

So far, the four giants in the United States, Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon, have all had intersections with AI chips.
Amazon Prime membership exceeds 100 million
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos wrote to shareholders on Wednesday that the number of Amazon's paid Prime members has exceeded 100 million.
Bezos also said in the letter that the number of Amazon Prime members increased more than in any previous year in 2017, with more than 5 billion express parcels delivered by Prime members worldwide. In addition, 2017 was the best year for Amazon's hardware sales, and the company will continue to invest to expand its user base, brand and infrastructure.
Amazon shares rose 1.5% in after-hours trading after Bezos' letter to shareholders was released. Amazon investors are not currently focusing on its profits. Since 2011, Amazon's profit margin has been just over 2%. Instead, investors are looking at the profits of Amazon entering new markets and finding new revenue channels. Amazon's revenue grew 31% last year to $178 billion. Amazon's stock rose nearly 70% last year, nearly five times the increase of the S&P 500 index during the same period.
Qualcomm lays off 1,500 employees to cut costs
According to foreign media reports, in order to fulfill its previous promise to investors to cut costs by $1 billion, Qualcomm has begun to lay off about 1,500 people in California. Sources said that Qualcomm currently has about 34,000 employees worldwide. The layoffs in California are the main part of the entire layoff plan, and layoffs will also be carried out in other regions, but the scale will be relatively smaller.
Qualcomm's sales have been declining year by year since 2015 and are expected to fall 3% in fiscal 2018. Qualcomm pledged in January this year to cut $1 billion in expenses to increase profits.
This is not the first time Qualcomm has laid off employees. In 2015, the chip giant announced a restructuring under pressure from activist investors, resulting in thousands of layoffs.
It is reported that the latest layoff figures will be clarified in the next few days, when Qualcomm will issue a so-called "warning notice" or "employee adjustment and retraining notice." California stipulates that if a company lays off 50 or more employees, it must report a layoff notice within 30 days in advance.
