Delivery time continues to extend

“Most manufacturers are currently experiencing some degree of lead time extension. Whether it is due to simply higher demand for certain product types, a lack of raw materials, or shipping delays, we expect lead times to continue into the third quarter.

This unprecedented demand is continuing to stimulate the need for raw materials and higher production capacity, not only further pushing up the prices of products that were already priced higher, but also forcing many manufacturers to increase prices for most of their products to account for the increase in their manufacturing, material and logistics costs.

As noted above, it remains unknown how long the current constrained environment will last. We believe the conditions we are currently experiencing will continue until at least the middle to late third quarter. We encourage all customers to provide us with foreseeable long-term demand to minimize supply disruptions.”
