On February 21, 2017, WPG Holdings , a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market , announced that its subsidiary WPG launched a DC charging pile reference design for electric vehicles based on devices from many international manufacturers such as ADI, EPCOS, Fairchild, Micron, Molex, MXChip, NXP, ONsemi, TI, Toshiba, Vishay, and ZTE Weblink .

Based on the country's clear strategic demands for the new energy vehicle industry, the policy of implementing charging piles that match new energy vehicles is also very resolute. The electric vehicle charging infrastructure development guide has put forward clear construction goals for different locations:

❶Build more than 3,850 bus charging and swapping stations, 2,500 taxi charging and swapping stations, and 2,450 special-purpose charging stations for sanitation and logistics vehicles;

❷ More than 2.8 million user-specific charging stations have been built in residential areas, and facilities with conditions are encouraged to be open to the public;

❸ More than 1.5 million user-specific charging stations have been built in the internal parking lots of public institutions, enterprises, institutions, office buildings, industrial parks and other units.

With the support of national policies and the general trend of electric vehicle development, the automobile charging service industry is bound to have broad prospects .
