Vishay introduces TNPU e3 series of low TCR high-precision thin film flat chip resistors in 0603, 0805 and 1206 case sizes
Automotive-grade products offer higher accuracy, with TCR as low as ±2ppm/K and tolerance no greater than ±0.02%
Vishay Draloric TNPU e3 series resistors offer the proven reliability of TNPW e3 products with increased precision, low TCR, tolerances of ± 0.02%, and excellent long-term stability—for example, maximum resistance change of ≤ 0.05% over 1,000 hours at rated power P 70. This unique technology makes these AEC Q200 qualified resistors ideal for applications such as operational amplifiers and sensor detection circuits in test and measurement, automotive, industrial, medical, and communications equipment.
The TNPU e3 series devices have a TCR as low as 2ppm/K, and are available in 0603, 0805 and 1206 sizes with resistance values ranging from 500Ω to 20kΩ. The new resistors have excellent resistance to high temperature and humidity (85°C; 85% RH), sulfur resistance meets ASTM B 809 standards, and an operating temperature of -55°C to +125°C, ensuring extremely stable performance even in harsh environments.
The device is suitable for automatic SMD assembly system patch processing, and can use automatic wave soldering, reflow soldering or vapor phase reflow soldering. The resistor is RoHS compliant, and the pure tin plating is compatible with lead-free (Pb) and lead-containing soldering processes.
Samples and production quantities of the TNPU e3 series resistors are available now in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, with lead times of 10 to 14 weeks.
