the launch of a new automotive-grade bidirectional single-channel ESD protection diode in a small package DFN1006-2B with side pads for easy soldering.
The space-saving
VETH100A1DD1
is specifically designed for automotive Ethernet and complies with the OPEN Alliance 100Base-T1 and 1000Base-T1 specifications. It has low clamping voltage, dynamic resistance and capacitance to protect high-speed data lines from transient voltage signals.
The device released today has a smaller footprint and height than other standard packaged devices, and uses snap-back technology with a trigger voltage of > 100 V, resulting in an extremely low clamping voltage of only 31 V at 1 A. The protection diode has a typical dynamic resistance as low as 0.4
