Littelfuse Launches New Ultra-Small 400W TVS Diodes to Protect Sensitive Electronic Equipment from Transient Voltages

Littelfuse, a leading global supplier of circuit protection solutions, recently announced the launch of the SMF4L series 400W small-size package transient suppression diodes, which are specially designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from transient voltage damage caused by lightning and other transient voltage events. It provides a small, flat pin, small-size plastic SOD-123FL package. With a circuit board area of only 3.10 mm x 2.00 mm x 0.98 mm, the SMF4L series is 50% smaller than the SMA. Its maximum height is only 0.98 mm, and the pulse peak power dissipation performance of 400W@10/1000μs enables the SMF4L series to be used in transient voltage protection applications that focus on compact design.
Applications for the SMF4L series include protection of portable devices/hard disks, notebook computers, VCC buses, POS terminals, SSDs, power supplies and displays.
