ADI wins four awards at the 2018 Global Electronics Achievement Awards, demonstrating industry innovation leadership

The Global Electronics Achievement Award aims to select and honor companies and managers who have made outstanding contributions to promoting innovation in the global electronics industry. The winners are jointly selected by a judging committee composed of senior editors from ASPENCORE and website user groups from Asia, America, and Europe. After several months, the "Global Double Summit" was held in Shenzhen, China on November 8, 2018 to grandly announce the winners of the major awards.

The companies, managers and products nominated for various awards at this year's Global Electronics Achievement Awards are all industry leaders. The LTM4661, which won the "Best Product of the Year Award in the Power Management/Voltage Converter Category", is a low power step-up µModule regulator in a 6.25mm x 6.25mm x 2.42mm BGA package. Only a few capacitors and a resistor are needed to complete the design, and the solution footprint is less than 1cm² (single-sided PCB) or 0.5cm² (double-sided PCB).

The 28nm CMOS ADC/DAC chipset AD9208/AD9172, which won the "Best Product of the Year Award in the Amplifier/Data Converter Category", is designed for gigahertz bandwidth applications and can meet the needs of 4G/5G multi-band wireless communication base stations for higher spectral efficiency. Based on 28nm CMOS technology, the chipset can achieve industry-leading bandwidth and dynamic range, covering the largest number of signal frequency bands. They also feature low-noise spectral density required for diversity RF reception and I/Q demodulation systems, while consuming only half the power of other solutions.
