OktoberTech™ Infineon Eco-Innovation Summit | Highlights
OktoberTech™ is a global annual innovation summit hosted by Infineon, aiming to showcase forward-looking technologies and promote low-carbonization and digitalization. The first summit was launched in Silicon Valley in 2017 and has been held in Singapore, Tokyo and other regional innovation center cities. This year is the first time that the "OktoberTech™ - Infineon Eco-Innovation Summit" has been held in Greater China , and it has reviewed and demonstrated the latest achievements of Infineon's ecosystem construction in Greater China through an online live broadcast .
This OktoberTech™ ended successfully on December 14-15, 2022. With the theme of "Digital Intelligence, Low-Carbon Future" , the summit focused on explaining the development status based on the two concepts of "ecology and innovation" . Cutting-edge opinion leaders and technical experts from Infineon and many related fields appeared together to speak out and discuss the current status and future development direction of the industry.

Low-carbonization and digitalization are the main forces shaping the next decade. Infineon Greater China is committed to building a local ecosystem with global service capabilities that can increase customer value, and promote the coordinated development of all parties in the industry chain through win-win cooperation. At the same time, Infineon promotes the rapid development of low-carbonization and digitalization through continuous and comprehensive innovation in products, applications, business models, etc., and works with partners to create a better future.
In terms of building a local ecosystem, Infineon Greater China has continued to make efforts in three aspects: improving local application capabilities, continuously strengthening the ability to add value to customers, and building a digital ecological community, with remarkable results:
-
Develop local application capabilities: Infineon has specially established multiple cross-department "application system expert teams" to integrate human, technology, product resources and advantages for specific markets and application scenarios, and empower customers' development at the system innovation level. .
-
Adding value to customers: Infineon has not only successfully transformed itself from a pure chip supplier to a system solution provider, but its team of industry partners is also growing. This year alone, there are more than a dozen new partners joining the Infineon ecosystem from fields such as software algorithms, application system design, and system integration, covering Infineon's three core areas of Internet of Things, high energy efficiency, and future mobility.
-
Digital ecological community construction: Infineon optimizes from the perspective of the entire "user journey", increases digital user access channels, improves internal business and service processes, makes communication smoother and more efficient, and strives to make the user experience more personalized change.
While the above-mentioned "three-pronged approach" promotes cooperation and win-win ecological construction, Infineon has always regarded "innovation" as the foundation for the company's sustainable development.
Infineon believes that innovation is not only innovation in traditional semiconductor process technology and products, but also must be implemented comprehensively from multiple dimensions such as the whole process (individual dimension), the whole chain (value chain dimension), and continuity (time dimension). Innovation is the basis for winning the future. Over the years, Infineon has insisted on investing 13% of its revenue in R&D every year to safeguard continued comprehensive innovation. In fiscal year 2022 alone, Infineon registered 1,750 patents, bringing the total to 31,250.
Finally, let’s take a look
A wonderful review of this OktoberTech™ !
