Live broadcast tomorrow at 14:00 | Infineon's new generation current sensor chip TLE4973
With the vigorous development of automobile electrification, the scenarios where various electrical components on the vehicle need to measure and control current are increasing, such as the main drive inverter phase current, OBC PFC current, output current, BMS current detection, etc. These applications put forward the demand for more miniaturized and intelligent current sensor components.
This live broadcast will introduce the new generation of highly integrated current sensor TLE4973 launched by Infineon based on the previous two generations of current sensor chips TLE4971 and TLE4972 . This chip is the first product in the industry to meet ASIL B functional safety. It uses differential Hall to measure current internally, which can help users save magnetic cores, reduce the size and cost of the whole machine, and improve power density.
DCDI single bus technology makes the application of sensors more flexible. Users can configure the chip range, overcurrent threshold, etc. according to their own needs; at the same time, they can also use DCDI to collect chip temperature online and diagnose the internal analog path of the chip, making the chip more intelligent. The external current rail product series can cover measurement scenarios from 132A to 2KA+, such as the phase current of the main drive inverter; the built-in current rail product can measure currents within 132A, such as the PFC current in the OBC.
