Montage Technology releases the new sixth-generation Jintai® energy-efficient CPU

Lanqi Technology recently officially released its new sixth-generation Jintai® energy-efficient core CPU (C6E for short). This product is designed for high-density and scale-out workloads and is fully optimized in terms of density, energy efficiency, throughput and scalability.





Montage Technology's Jintai® C6E product is based on Intel® Xeon® 6 energy-efficient cores (codename: Sierra Forest), has passed the Montage Technology Security Pre-detection (Mont-PrC®) test, and is an x86 architecture server processor for the local market.


A single C6E CPU supports up to 144 cores, and the maximum L3 cache capacity is 108MB. The product supports single-channel or dual-channel design, supports 4 sets of UPI for interconnection between CPUs, and the highest UPI speed is 24GT/s. It supports 8 memory channels, and the DDR5 memory speed is up to 6400MT/s. In terms of IO, C6E supports PCIe® 5.0 and CXL® 2.0 expansion, and supports up to 88 PCIe® channels.


Compared with the fifth-generation Jintai® CPU, the C6E built on the energy-efficient core has increased rack density by 2.1 times and performance per watt by 1.5 times in the field of cloud computing. By upgrading old systems, customers can significantly reduce the number of racks required, thereby reducing power consumption, saving energy, and achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
