From 1998 when China began to try to independently produce display panels to 2018, a full 20 years have passed. China's display panel industry has gone from catching up to following and gradually leapfrogging to the position of the largest production scale. Especially in recent years, "Made in China" is gradually transforming to "Smart Manufacturing in China". In this context, the LCD industry, as one of China's emerging industries and also as a technology industry in the physical manufacturing industry, has a long and arduous road to transformation and a long way to go to achieve intelligence.


In terms of production technology, the development of LCD panels towards large size and ultra-high definition has become an inevitable trend, and driven by consumer demand for large-screen TVs, the average size of global TV panels has steadily increased, and the process of large-size has accelerated, driving the continued growth of demand area. In particular, for LCD panel products above 65 inches, the most economical cutting efficiency is the 10.5-generation line.



Another thing we can see is that most of the newly expanded OLED production lines at home and abroad are flexible OLED production lines. Take a well-known domestic company as an example. The two 6-inch OLED production lines in Chengdu and Mianyang, which cost nearly 100 billion yuan to build, are both flexible OLED production lines. It is expected that the increase in flexible OLED production capacity of newly opened production lines after 2018 will be more than twice that of rigid OLED. It is expected that by 2020, the proportion of flexible OLED will increase from 27% in 2016 to nearly 62%.

AAF launches new filtration technology to improve product yield

In terms of products, AAF will not even miss any details. In order to provide a precise and reliable sealing system, AAF uses a fully automatic polyurethane PU sealing gasket machine. Through the process of precise dispensing and foaming, the sealing material is poured on the part of the filter that needs dispensing to achieve waterproof, dustproof, flame retardant and other effects. The entire automatic sealing edge sealing process is efficient, safe and fast. After the polyurethane PU foam sealing material is cured, there is no joint gap, and the sealing effect and comprehensive performance are higher than the EPDM rubber sealing gasket currently commonly used in China.

Excellent products come from rigorous testing

In addition, in order for AAF to continue to maintain its leading position in the supply of high-end air filtration products in China, three of the world's most advanced fully automatic HEPA&ULPA filter scanning and leak detection test benches, AstroScan, were recently installed in AAF's Suzhou and Shenzhen factories. This not only allows AAF to more strictly comply with the current EU EN1822:2009 standard and the ISO29463 standard that will be implemented globally, but also ensures the ability to automatically scan and test 1,000 HEPA&ULPA high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency filters one by one every day.
