The latest data from the "2022 Enterprise Open Source Status" report shows that 95% of IT leaders around the world say that enterprise-level open source is very important to enterprise infrastructure. From a domestic perspective, the "14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of the Long-Term Plan for 2035" first proposed "supporting the development of innovative consortia such as digital technology open source communities, improving open source intellectual property and legal systems, and encouraging companies to open software source code, hardware design, and application services", which has promoted the cultivation of open source talents and the construction of an open source ecosystem in my country and has received attention and widespread attention.
The theme of this online seminar is "Innovation in Application of Open Source Hardware Chinese Chips" and it revolves around "Innovation and Development of Domestic Open Source Hardware".
The IAIC China Chip Application Innovation Design Competition Organizing Committee and Firefly Factory co-organized this seminar.

The 4th Innovative Application Contest of China IC (IAIC) is the first competition in the field of domestic integrated circuit application innovation. The competition is jointly sponsored by China Electronics Information Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and co-organized by Shenzhen China Electronics Port Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen New Generation Information and Communication Industry Cluster, Shenzhen Semiconductor Industry Association, Xinchacha and other institutions.
The competition aims to activate and develop innovative design of Chinese chip applications, enhance confidence and trust in domestic chips in the application field, promote more demonstration effects of domestic chip application development, and provide support for the formation of a virtuous cycle of industrial application-chip research and development-better application-better research and development. So far, three sessions have been successfully held, with an impact of 200,000 people, nearly 10,000 developers, more than 2,000 projects participating, more than 100 original manufacturers participating in support, and more than 80 investment institutions on-site docking.
