As shown in the figure, adjusting the potentiometer RP can adjust the conduction angle of the thyristor and change the output voltage, thereby achieving the purpose of steplessly adjusting the motor speed. The resistance of RP is small, the conduction angle of VS is large, the output voltage is high, and the motor speed is high; conversely, the resistance of RP is large and the motor speed is low.
