The homemade disinfectant circuit introduced in this example uses the method of electrolyzing salt solution to produce sodium hypochlorite (NaCk) disinfectant, which can be used for
disinfection of daily necessities.
(1) Circuit composition The disinfectant generator circuit consists of a power supply circuit and a timing control circuit It is composed as shown in the figure.
The power circuit consists of control button SB1, fuse FU, power transformer T, rectifier bridge VDJ~VD4, filter capacitor Ci, current limiting resistor
Rz, power indicator LED and ammeter PA.
Timing The control circuit is composed of time base integrated circuit IC , potentiometer RI, resistor, capacitor island, control button SB2, diode VD5 and
relay K.
(2) Working principle When the control button SB (SB1.SB2 linkage) is pressed, After the AC 220V voltage is stepped down by T, rectified by VD1-VD4
and filtered by Cl, a 5v DC voltage is generated. One line is added to the electrodes a and b through the ammeter PA, and the salt water in the container is electrolyzed I.
One line is passed through R to limit the current. After pressing, the LED will light up; the other channel is used as the working power supply of the timing control circuit
.
When the SB2 contact is connected and disconnected, the ② pin and @ pin of Ic become low potential, the ◎ pin outputs high level, and K is powered on. , its normally open contact
is turned on t to cause the power supply to self-lock (the power supply remains on after s is released). Then G is charged through R and RP, and the timing circuit starts timing, so that the voltage of the ② pin and @ pin of
the IC continues Rise. When the voltage at both ends of c2 is charged to above 8V, the circuit in Jc flips, and its ③ pin outputs a low level, causing
K to be released. The normally open point of K is disconnected, and the AC input power circuit is disconnected to make disinfectant. (Electrolysis of salt water) process ends.
Increasing the distance between electrode a and electrode b can reduce the forward current (the operating current is about 5A).
