Design of Phase Detection Broadband Frequency Measurement System Based on FPGA [Copy link]

In electronic measurement technology, frequency measurement is one of the most basic measurements. The commonly used frequency measurement method and period measurement method have great limitations in practical applications, and there is an error of ±1 word in counting the measured signal. The system to be introduced in this article adopts phase-detection broadband frequency measurement technology, which not only realizes the synchronization of the measured signal, but also realizes the synchronization of the standard frequency signal, greatly eliminating the ±1 word counting error in the general frequency measurement system, and combined with the field programmable gate array (FPGA), it has the characteristics of high integration, high speed and high reliability, so that the frequency measurement range can reach 1Hz~2.4GHz, and the frequency measurement accuracy reaches 10-11 orders of magnitude under 1s gate.
