HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 released
HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 , based on HarmonyOS 4.0, helps make cars smarter and realizes a new smart travel experience with full integration of IoT and human-computer interaction. Its cross-device experience design concept can be simply summarized as the "three Cs" .
1. Minimalist connection Connected: including one-step connection, extremely fast connection, stable and reliable connection, etc., just like building a highway between mobile phones and cars;
2. Seamless transfer Continuous: Tasks on personal terminal devices can be transferred to the car to continue working, such as watching movies, making phone calls, listening to music, and navigating, etc., to experience seamless transfer between devices;
3. Hardware mutual assistance: Each device has its best capabilities, and devices can complement each other's advantages and support each other's hardware.
The release of HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 symbolizes that mobile phone and car-machine interconnection have entered the 2.0 era, and will move from interconnection to integration. In the past, mobile phone and car-machine interconnection modes and experiences were mainly based on screen projection, which was reasonable when the capabilities of the older generation of car-machine were insufficient, but it is no longer in line with the development trend of the new generation of smart cars. As automobiles have developed into smart cockpits, terminals need a more integrated and collaborative approach to make the cockpit more intelligent and human-computer interaction more concise and unified, rather than simply projecting a screen.
Entering the era of intelligence, smartphones and smart cars, as the two largest super-intelligent terminals, are connected at the system level, sharing ecosystems and mutually assisting hardware, bringing consumers a collaborative experience of 1+1>2. In smart travel scenarios, cars are the largest smart IoT devices. In addition to mobile phones, consumers’ personal smart devices may also include smart watches, smart glasses, etc. Passengers in the back may also use laptops or PADs for work, or use AR/ Watch movies with VR glasses. Mobile phones and cars are moving from the Internet to the integration, which is mainly reflected in four aspects:

c) HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 integration solution realizes the integration of mobile phone applications and car local applications on one HMI interface, and the priority is clear. That is to say, the applications from the mobile phone and the native applications of the car are interactively integrated in an orderly manner, so as to achieve a unified human-computer interaction experience.
d) In terms of intelligent voice interaction, in traditional mode, if you want to operate a mobile phone application by voice, you must use the phone's wake-up word, and if you operate a car-based application, consumers need to use the car-based voice wake-up word. This is not only in terms of user experience. It is fragmented and makes it more difficult for users to use. In HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 integration mode, the gap of voice experience separation will be broken.
2. Application integration, HUAWEI HiCar can enable more applications to be added to the car. Through application integration, the car and machine can share the mobile application ecosystem.
3. Data fusion. On the premise of satisfying user privacy data protection, the integration and application of personal data on personal smart terminal devices and car data can create more useful, interesting, and innovative new scenarios.
4. Hardware mutual assistance and integration. Cars have powerful and professional hardware configurations, and personal terminal devices also have many sensors and actuators.
