IT Home reported on May 7 that according to Securities Times e Company, a Royole employee told him today that the wages owed to him by the company had been received on May 6. He said that the source of the funds is still unclear, but this is a good sign.
In April this year, an employee of Royole Technology said that the company had not paid wages for several months. The employee also said that although the company owed wages, it did not take the initiative to lay off large numbers of employees, and did not know when the wages would be paid.
At that time, Royole Technology also responded to the "three-month holiday for all employees" issue, saying that the company did not give all employees a holiday, many employees were still working, and the online rumor that all employees were on holiday for three months was a rumor. However, it did not respond to the issue of withholding employee salaries.
IT Home learned that the prospectus previously disclosed by Royole showed that from 2017 to 2019 and the first half of 2020, Royole Technology achieved operating income of 65 million yuan, 109 million yuan, 227 million yuan, and 116 million yuan, respectively, with a total revenue of 517 million yuan. Net profit continued to lose money during the same period, with losses of 359 million yuan, 802 million yuan, 1.073 billion yuan, and 961 million yuan, respectively, with a cumulative loss of 3.195 billion yuan in three and a half years.
