Vivo announced today that it will hold a new product launch conference on April 11 to officially launch its first foldable screen mobile phone, vivo X Fold.

Vivo said that the vivo X Fold is a "big, comprehensive" professional folding flagship, which will announce the arrival of the folding screen 2.0 era.

It was previously revealed that the vivo X Fold is internally codenamed "Butterfly", and will have a major technological breakthrough in the core component of the hinge, and the product performance is fully comparable to Huawei and Samsung. It uses a centered single-hole curved screen, a full-focus quad-camera on the rear, and does not use a side fingerprint. The hardware configuration is very high, and the back cover is a circular lens module embedded in the matrix protrusion, with a periscope lens in the upper right corner.

Display industry analyst Ross Young previously stated that vivo's first foldable screen mobile phone is provided with screen panels by Samsung and began production in January. It is equipped with an 8.03-inch LTPO 120Hz screen and covered with UTG ultra-thin glass. There are also reports that the internal screen of the phone is from Samsung and the external screen is from BOE. There are certain differences in the parameters of the two screens.
